Welcome to Community Records Foundation!

At Community Records Foundation, we help young people make a positive difference in their communities through music-making. The video above is an example of the work we do with young people. A multi-age group of young people from Willow Run, Michigan (calling themselves Helathy Habitats) were studying pollution in a nearby creek and wanted to write a song about it. So they called in Community Records Foundation.  In four 2-hr. sessions, we helped guide these youth through the songwriting and recording processes. The video and song are the resulting products. We are extremely proud of these young people for working to make a positive change in their community through songwriting.

Check out these songs written and recorded by talented young people.  And please consider donating $5, $10 or $20 to help us continue to do this important work with at-risk youth who cannot afford to pay to record themselves.  Just click on the Donate button below the video.  Thank you and we wish you the best in peace and music!

Our mission:
Community Records Foundation is a Michigan non-profit that builds local community, inspiring and creating relationships by bringing together diverse populations through collaborative participation in music-making & music education.
